Rocord ("Rocord", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at rocord.app and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: When you sign in with Roblox, we receive your Roblox user ID, username, and basic profile details provided through Roblox OAuth. We do not receive or store your Roblox password.
• Usage information: Details about how you interact with the Service, including projects you create, features you use, and timestamps of activity.
• Billing information: When you subscribe or purchase credits, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive limited transaction metadata such as subscription status and payment confirmations. We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and log data collected automatically when you access the Service. We retain a limited fingerprint (such as your Roblox user ID and IP address) to prevent abuse of free trials and repeated sign-ups, including after an account is deleted.
• Communications: Information you provide when you contact us for support.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To process subscriptions, credits, and payments.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
• To monitor usage, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable (for example, under the GDPR), we process your information on the basis of: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, database, and payment providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Roblox, as part of the OAuth authentication flow you initiate.
• Legal and safety recipients, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Accounts that remain inactive — including lapsed, unpaid, or suspended accounts — for 60 consecutive days may be automatically and permanently deleted, along with their projects, bots, files, and related data; any active paid subscription is cancelled at that time. We may retain certain information after account closure where required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your account data as described below. Note: this automatic-deletion policy may change in the future, and accounts may instead be retained indefinitely unless removed for moderation or legal reasons. When you delete your own account, we retain your username and the projects you created, and we erase your subscription status, join date, credit history, and payment identifiers. To prevent trial and sign-up abuse, we keep a minimal fingerprint (such as Roblox user ID and IP address) after deletion; this is not linked to your erased billing data and is used only to enforce fair use.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. Sensitive configuration values are stored encrypted. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through our Discord server. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
